Aluminium Roof Lantern

Our Brand New Aluminium Roof Lantern

The product market for Roof Lanterns has grown massively in the past couple of years, with all types of extensions and new build projects now featuring a flat roof with a roof lantern situated to allow in maximum light. Having been in the glazing industry for 23 years, we know that our customers are always looking for different options and innovative market leading designs.

The All New Stargazer Roof Lantern

We understand that it is important to grow with your market, and to understand your customer's needs, that's why CCS Midlands have teamed up with Kestrel Aluminium to design our all new, full aluminium, thermally broken Stargazer Roof Lantern.

Why aluminium?

Aluminium provides a stronger structure, with the ability to hold larger pieces of glass and reduce your sight lines. We can powder coat your roof lantern to over 500 RAL Colours, matching your aluminium Bi-Fold Doors or Windows. Powder coating is longer lasting, durable and more resistant against chipping, scratching and fading – it is used to protect some of the toughest machinery in the UK so will provide an excellent finish and durability on your roof lantern.

Another attraction of our aluminium roof lantern is the thermal break. A thermal break forms a physical barrier to stop the heat escaping through the aluminium frame and prevents condensation building up within the aluminium frame. Using a polyamide bar in-between the external and internal frame, thermal breaking insulates the lantern and improves the energy efficiency of the lantern and your room.

How will the aluminium frame affect the look?

A roof lantern is designed to maximise the natural light flowing into your home, so the last thing you want is a bulky profile and ugly sight lines. That is why we are pleased to have created a contemporary, slimline profile that is almost half the width of other profiles. With a thickness of 40mm, we can ensure that whatever the weather you will be happy with the view when you look up through your roof lantern.
